Why should you choose Wheelco over any other parts and service distributor? This is a question we’d love to answer for you. Since 1961, we’ve prided ourselves in being driven by our customers’ needs. From humble beginnings as a family owned, local heavy-parts distributor, we’ve grown into six parts store locations, multiple drive-in service centers, and a provider of an expansive truck and trailer parts inventory.
Wheelco has grown because we listen to our customers and what they need. Find out why Wheelo customers from various industries—including construction, over the road trucking, agriculture, mining, excavation, waste management, and food and beverage— choose Wheelco to be their partner.
Personal Customer Service
Relationships are what separate a vendor from a partner. Wheelco is invested in your success. We’re proud to serve both businesses and direct customers. Current customers can order in store, online, or by calling in. Or we send sales personnel your way so your days aren’t interrupted. You can also order without opening an account if you have one-off parts needs. Pricing is designed to fit individual customer needs.
No matter if you’re a business or need a part for your personal truck, you’re welcome to visit Wheelco store locations to find parts without needing to open an account. A personal Wheelco representative is assigned to current customers to help with part support, advice, and ordering needs. Current customers get the added benefit of ordering online anytime, often with same or next day shipping on parts.
What Wheelco Offers that Other Parts Dealers Don’t:
- When we say we’re customer driven, that is exactly what we mean. We’ll go above and beyond to take care of our customer’s needs.
- If you aren’t sure about a part number, we will cross reference it for you.
- We do factory or shop walkthroughs. Our knowledgeable staff can sometimes make your process more effective or cheaper.
- We want to educate our customers so that they know the latest in the industry. That means we’ll offer tips and vendor training.
- Service is important. We understand that if your equipment is not operating properly, it hurts your business. You can bring in your equipment and we have mechanics on-site until 10 p.m. so they can service your vehicles.
- Major repair problems? No worries. A truck and trailer study reported that an acceptable wait time for major truck repairs was 34 hours. Wheelco can consistently beat this time.
Multiple Midwest Locations and Convenient Hours
Since Wheelco is located in several areas through the Midwest, we can get the products you need fast. With our delivery, we can get what you need in 5 days or less. As the demand to expand to different locations grows, we will meet the need. We’re excited to expand offerings as customer requests arise, such as adding a service center to our Mitchell, South Dakota location.

Expansive Parts Selection, Trusted Brands, and Service Options
Trucks are our business. If you need hydraulics, air conditioning, brakes, or batteries, we’ve got you covered. Wheelco doesn’t just offer one brand or one product. We work with all the well-known trusted brands (American made) so that you have a reliable product. We’re proud to carry over 100 part brands including some of the following:
- SAF Holland
Looking for a specific brand? Call or contact us to find out if we carry it. Wheelco offers the best brands on the market because keeping your trucks efficient, safe, and on the road is our top goal. We will also order parts for you if you need something special that’s not in our inventory (including custom parts! See Reason #6).
We often work with business (repair shops, garage services, refrigerating vehicles, buses, military lines) and we work with truckers, farmers, and mechanics. It doesn’t matter if you own a business or if you are a direct customer, the process is the same. Wheelco works with you to create an account so that you can get the products you need online, over the phone, or in person. Additionally, if you need a vehicle serviced, we can do that as well.
Various Shipping and Delivery Options
We understand that when you need parts and don’t have them, it cuts your bottom line. You need to get trucks back on the road, quickly. That is why we have delivery routes set up for many of our locations to deliver directly to you. However, if you need a special part or if you are in an area not on our route, we will happily hire third party delivery trucks to meet you where you are at. We proudly ship to the Midwest, but we also ship internationally.
Our shipping practices, frequency, and stopping points set us apart from the competition. Daily delivery is our goal. We want to get you the parts you ordered the same day or next day. However, we do offer 5-day delivery. We do take special orders, but as they are different from our usual inventory, delivery times and prices vary. Can’t make it into a location to order? We can send a sales representative directly to you.
Expert Advice and Seasonal Support
Wheelco takes pride in doing the best work. We only hire those with a good work ethic and industry experience. We are customer driven, but it is our employees who help give Wheelco the reputation of being an industry leader. You can trust our staff to know product brands inside and out. We take the time to interview and vet staff so we know that they are reliable and dependable for you.
Beyond expert advice, our staff ensures that you have the correct parts and service that you need. With years of experience on our team, we’ve seen and can diagnose true wear or usage issues versus just ordering parts for you. Our helpful staff also knows what parts on your truck need to be maintained or inspected for the upcoming trucking seasons. We also offer informative resources for those interested in trucking news and advice.
Because of our expertise, Wheelco can customize products and services to each of our customers’ unique requests. To make sure that your business and process runs smoothly, if we need to do a walkthrough of your factory, shop, or establishment, we will.
In addition to the onsite visits, we create custom kits, assembly audits and offer analytics and tech support. Finally, we will have Q&A with our customers so that anything that is bothering them, is on their mind, or question, we can get them an answer.
Wheelco has mechanical engineers on staff. When you need a custom part, we can ensure that the product or kit we create for them is ideal. We stock OEM parts and kits for customers. Need OEM parts, service, or simply have questions? Wheelco has dedicated representatives that can help you, just like any other order.
Returns and Exchanges
While Wheelco sells only the highest quality products, we recognize sometimes parts need to be returned or exchanged. Your changing needs are what we want to meet. No matter if the part is no longer needed or you’d like a different option, our staff is happy to help you return your parts with a hassle-free process. Manufacturer warranties are available for many part options to help if returns are required after 90 days. Wheelco will help be the middleman to communicate warranty questions between you and the manufacturer, if needed.
